on my prayer life this week

Hey girls,

Just wanted to log in a mid-week entry to perhaps encourage you girls to blog about your experiences, life and activities and stuff. Maybe things you've prayed and God has blessed you with, or things you've prayed and God hasn't and perhaps you realised why..etc.

For myself personally, this week so far or rather the past days hasn't been the best, not because of the physical things around me but more of the thoughts in my head, God vs the world and all. It's complicated, this world! And I strongly encourage you girls to plant your seeds into the ground now- Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-23), you have alot to face even as this world is developing, people dying (cyclone, quakes etc). Choose to be the seed that falls upon the good soil hearing the word and understanding it- and then producing a crop, yielding hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. COMEON!(:

One thing to note: never never doubt that God is good and God is real and alive okay! Because He's there- for eternity whether you like it or not. I used to doubt as a younger Christian, about the reliability of the bible, whether God/ Jesus is real and things like that, but everytime I looked at the elder people who prayfully served the churchfor a few decades, I am encouraged. I mean, if God didnt exist, they wouldnt be still in church serving and firmly knowing that God is there right?

This (the watching of elders) is only based on human sight but there are definitely evidences of all these (bible, God) that substantiates our faith. Jesus did exist definitely and He did die and He wasn't found in the tomb and He really was seen by thousands. All these ain't no myths or stories from a storybook named the Holy Bible, they are facts upon which you can know inside God did come down, and then- go search for God in prayer, petition, thanksgiving, adoration.

I just simply want to tell you girls now of facts and we'll go deeper in those things (evidences)next time. (I will share more on this if we have time in future, do bring up your questions in class if you have any cuz I might not have been too clear here)

Our walk is going to be tough, no one said it's gonna be easy- so stand firm in your faith so that no strong wind of Satan's will be able to topple us all! Chocolate Bananas here we comee!(:

As for me, this week I really am learning to draw a huge amount of strength from God to supply not only my needs but even in ministry to others around me. It's rough choppy waves coming my way as I see it, but it's God glorified amidst all this, definitely.
